2026 Spring Webinar Series: Low Vision Clinical Practice

Type: Webinar
Date: March 31, April 28, June 2
Location: Zoom

This three-part webinar series is designed for orthoptists who are ready to deepen their clinical expertise in low vision rehabilitation. Whether you are an orthoptist, ophthalmologist, resident, or ophthalmic technician, this series offers practical, evidence-informed guidance to enhance your patient care from evaluation through optical intervention.

Across three interactive sessions, you will explore the full spectrum of low vision care: beginning with a re-examination of what vision truly means for a patient's daily life, moving through the principles and practicalities of magnification, and culminating in the nuanced art of low vision refraction and the full range of optical and electronic solutions available to your patients.

The series is designed to be completed in sequence and is intended to complement, not replace, foundational low vision training. Attendees are recommended to view the 2025 Spring Webinar on low vision prior to completing this webinar series.

At the end of this series, participants will have the opportunity to obtain a Certificate of Proficiency in Low Vision Care upon successful completion of an assessment.

Lectures will be recorded and posted to Brightspace after the session ends.
